Hi Everyone:
Our OHHS ’65 May Luncheon will be held at Sweeney’s Tavern on Wednesday - 5/8/24 at noon.
The Farnsworth House and Sweeney Tavern are normally closed on this day however the Chef and 1 server have agreed to work so we can have our luncheon.
Sweeney’s Tavern, is in the Farnsworh House. The Tavern is the old dining part of the décor from the Civil War days. The address is 401 Baltimore Street – Gettysburg PA.
I have attached a copy of the menu. You will need to let me know what items on the menu you would like by May 5th so they can pre order the food.
Also, they will be giving me one check for our meals.
Please give me the total cost of your lunch, beverage, and tax at the restaurant. Please plan to give me CASH – credit cards cannot be used.
As you can tell with these stipulations, you need to get in touch with me by Sunday, May 5th by 10 am and let me know you are coming and which item you would like for lunch.
**No ordering will the done the day of the luncheon. Please call me before May 5th with your order.**
We will be walking over to Mr. G’s homemade ice cream across the street.
Reid’s Winery and Cider is next to Mr. G’s and there are various little shops within walking distance.
