Yup, sorry you are older than me, lol. What is it like being 78? But, really now that I am almost as old as you, I keep thinking I should have been nicer to my mother! I moved to a 55+ community so I don't have to do things like mow the lawn or paint the house. I still teach quilting and do all sorts of charity work. Baby quilts, things for Vets, like Quilts of Valor. Moved into a new house last year and find I have more stuff than really fits, all my fabric and beading and doll making items. Just like to keep making things. Hope you are doing just great. Send a note now and then, if being older than me does not make you to feeble to send a quick note.

How are you? Been a very long time since high school. Wish I had known you lived so close when we were in Indialantic, but now am in Ocala. I don't keep in touch with much of anyone as I was not great friends with anyone in particular. I hope all your little ones
( animals) are fine. I love each one of mine just like children too!
Looks like you don't check on this site much. Just the same, when you see this, know I do remember you sitting in front of me in so many classes. Funny how we are captive to our names. Hope you are not too hot. I live in FL in it is just hot, hot, hot right now. Doubt we will meet again but know I will remember you as a nice person. Some things are hard to change. Hope you are given a Quilt of Valor. If not. look into it. I am a long time Professional quilt maker. Have my own line of patterns, blah, blah, blah. Look it up online and you can fill out the form, or get in touch with me, chenry@atlantic.net and I can help you. There is a nice ceremony given with the quilt. Makes up, just a bit for the crap given after the guys were sent back home and treated like garbage! Anyway, it is what we quilters do!
Seems we only get in touch when we get a year older. I'm not sure if that is good or bad. Anyway, I am warm here, air is on because it is almost 90 something outside. Just sewing, quilting with a group, making quilts for a shelter for women and children this week. I belong to several groups. Said I would never be the president of any group, but I said I would be the vice president, so they said, good, we don't need a president now, and that is how I became the president of a group different group! So, it keeps me mostly out of trouble, as I do like teaching and coming up with ideas for projects for the group. We have retreats and I have taught at those as well. About 800 members in the state belong to that guild.
Had a few magazines do articles on my mini quilts which was nice. I do other things but I sew every day, not cook or clean. I read all kinds of things because TV does not have much that interests me. I know, I sound dull. Have not dated as most of the men that asked me out were dogs. Besides I think I forgot how to act on a date. It has been a very long time and I believe the rules are a bit different. One man asked me out and he said, "Just dinner, no sex after." I was a bit shocked as I has only met him a few minutes before that. I did not even remember his name. I thought he was right. No sex because there was not going to be any dinner!
So much for my life. How are you doing? Looks like we will not get to meet up again. I will not be going to any more reunions. Very boring. Bunch of old people! Have no plans to go your way. Sorry we don't get to meet up as you were a big part of my life back at John Hanson Jr. High.
I do think of you often and the memories are always good. Thank you for being my friend!

I liked Maui. I told my husband I would like to live there. But it would be a big move from Fl to the island. I think I would sell everything but my clothes and sewing machine and buy everything else from people moving back to the main land if I were to make a move. Did not like the big island much, too busy.
I told you what I thought. You are not old in your mind if you don't think about it. Dates do not count. I have never celebrated a birthday in my whole life, so I guess it just does not make a difference to me. If you forget about it, it just fades away and soon you are so old you can't remember it anyway! It is those darn other people that keep reminding you of the date.

Oh my it has been a long time, but you know what, I still remember you as you were when we were kids. Funny how it is hard to think of us as parents or even grandparents. Hope to see you this year.
